A Little About Me
Thanks for stopping by! I’m Catherine Drake, a young adult (YA) writer aspiring to become a published novelist (I’m taking part in the dreaded query process as we speak), MFA graduate from the fabulous Hollins University Children’s Lit program, and all-around sushi connoisseur; I could seriously eat it every day if it wasn’t so damn expensive.
If I’m not writing, I’m more than likely nose-deep in a good book, eating sushi, or dreaming about doing one of those things. I’m also married to my college sweetheart and together we are the “parents” to the cutest Westie in the world, Ernie. And yes, I may be a little biased.
If you are curious what I’ll be blogging about, it will primarily consist of the ends and outs of writing: the creative process as a whole, the business side of things, as well as general sillyness brought to you by yours truly.
